In his three years at Nearform, Kyle has lead various client teams ranging in size and scope. His skillset ranges from UI design & component architecture, to full-stack auth/state management, and frontend application architecture. He helped Ookla ship their 'Speedtest Custom' interactive UI, worked with various health-science clients to modernize brownfield applications & ideate new products, and has recently helped a large fintech startup architect a realtime trading platform. As well as his technical expertise, Kyle has helped organize reusable modules for teams, and helped define technical product strategy & team organization for growing clients. Away from the screen, Kyle enjoys being outside with his Dog, exploring new foods, and traveling.

It has been more than four years since @vjeux proposed a revolutionary new idea for styling React components using javascript APIs. This CSS-in-JS talk sparked a wave of innovation in React open source community as we experimented with new ways to apply styles to our React components. Radium was one of the early tools to provide APIs for interop between JavaScript and DOM style tags, and allowed React developers to avoid specificity conflicts by scoping styles to DOM elements.
